Coachella 2025: CAA Dominates Headliners, Wasserman Tops in Act Bookings

Coachella 2025: The Start of the Festival Season

The highly anticipated Coachella 2025 is slated to commence later today, marking the official beginning of this year’s concert festival season. As music enthusiasts prepare for this iconic event, excitement is palpable across the globe.

A Dominant Presence: CAA and Wasserman Lead the Lineup

In a recent analysis by music industry directory Rostr, it has been revealed that Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is making a significant impact this year by showcasing prominent headliners such as Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone. Meanwhile, Wasserman has outperformed all agencies, boasting the highest number of acts on the Coachella bill this season with a remarkable total of 32 performances booked. Notably, this figure does not include various ancillary music events associated with Coachella, like those organized by the Do Lab.

CAA follows closely behind in second place with 28 acts, while United Talent Agency (UTA) comes in third with 21, a number that was previously higher before the last-minute cancellations by Anitta and Gel. Additionally, William Morris Endeavor, also with 21 acts, solidified its roster as Weezer joined the lineup alongside Ed Sheeran, who is managed by Wasserman.

A Star-Studded Lineup and Notable Performances

This year’s Coachella features an incredible array of talent beyond just the headliners. Attendees can look forward to performances from major artists such as Travis Scott, Missy Elliott, The Misfits, Charli XCX, and Megan Thee Stallion, each expected to deliver memorable shows. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter earlier this week, Weezer is still confirmed to perform on Saturday, despite the recent distressing circumstances involving bassist Scott Shriner; his wife was injured in a police incident while law enforcement pursued suspects in a hit-and-run case.

Anticipation and Challenges Ahead of Opening Day

Shifting to Ed Sheeran, the chart-topping artist is set to take the stage during the Saturday afternoon session of the second weekend, promoting his newest single “Azizam”alongside his forthcoming eighth album. However, the festival faced some challenges even before its gates opened, as attendees expressed their frustrations over excessively long wait times to access the car camping area, with reports indicating delays of up to 12 hours.

As Coachella 2025 unfolds, the festival not only promises a rich lineup of artists but also the experiences and challenges typical of large-scale events. Fans and new attendees alike are gearing up for what is sure to be a memorable season of music and celebration.
