Supercell has unveiled a significant transformation to the Army Screen within the Clash of Clans March 2025 update. This redesigned interface is engineered to simplify army management, effectively eliminating the need for manual troop training. Players can now deploy any army composition instantly, without the traditional requirement of training troops, brewing spells, or constructing Siege Machines.

Enhanced Army Screen Experience
The upgraded Army Screen presents a modular design that enhances troop management. Players will find Heroes, Pets, and Equipment prominently displayed on the left, facilitating easy loadout adjustments. By tapping on a Hero, users can access menus where they can swap Pets, modify Hero Equipment, or replace Heroes entirely.
This dynamic interface also tailors its display according to the Town Hall level, ensuring that lower-level players benefit from larger Hero icons for improved visibility. Moreover, Hero skins are now included, enabling players to choose their preferred aesthetics swiftly. If a Hero is in the midst of an upgrade, an icon appears on their card to denote their status.
Players can manage their active army through four key sections located on the right side:
- Troops (top section)
- Spells
- Siege Machines
- Clan Castle Troops (bottom section)
With the removal of training times in this update, troops can be added directly to the army without delay. Overlapping troop icons on the screen maximize visibility, allowing players to view numerous units simultaneously. An indicator warns players if their army is incomplete, ensuring they can fully utilize the unlimited training aspect.
A trash icon located in the top-right corner facilitates the quick deletion of the entire army when desired. The instant selection feature extends to Spells, Siege Machines, and Clan Castle troops, effectively removing waiting periods.
Clan Castle requests are seamlessly integrated into the Army Screen. Players can tap on the “Request”button to access a request form. The interface automatically adjusts the view for optimal visibility as players select reinforcements, with transparent icons highlighting any missing troops. Additionally, players can utilize Raid Medals from this menu for swift reinforcement requests.
Introducing Army Recipes
Revolutionizing the previous Quick Train tab, the new Army Recipe feature empowers players to pre-save their favorite army compositions, including Heroes, Equipment, and Clan Castle Troops. All previously saved Quick Train armies will automatically transition into Army Recipes.
This feature allows players to craft customized loadouts by selecting from a variety of Heroes, Pets, Troops, Spells, and Siege Machines. Every modification made to an Army Recipe is automatically saved, ensuring no loss of progress after the March 2025 update.
Here’s how players can take advantage of the Army Recipe feature:
- Save the current active army into a recipe slot for future battles.
- Instantly update the entire army, including Clan Castle requests, when switching between recipes.
- If the Clan Castle is already filled with reinforcements, a prompt will ask players to discard existing troops prior to applying new requests.
- Activate Super Troops directly from the Army Recipe screen, eliminating the need to visit the Super Troop Sauna.
Moreover, a new sharing functionality allows players to broadcast their Army Recipes in clan chat. This feature simplifies the process of replicating complete army setups, including Heroes, Pets, and Equipment.
