Even Hollywood Stars Experience Nerves: Chris Hemsworth Opens Up
It’s not just everyday individuals who experience nerves; even top-tier Hollywood actors like Chris Hemsworth face moments of intimidation. This was evident when he recently discussed his feelings about sharing the screen with the legendary Halle Berry while promoting his latest film, Crime 101, at CinemaCon.
Special Moments on the Red Carpet
During an exclusive interview with E! News, Hemsworth candidly admitted that he felt a wave of intimidation when working alongside Berry. “I’ve admired Halle’s work for many, many years. I was obviously very intimidated to sit opposite her within a scene and try and, you know, not just be in awe of what she was doing,” he stated.
A Transformative Experience
Despite his initial nerves, Hemsworth found that Berry’s presence brought out his best performances. He shared, “Certain people just bring out not just the best in you, but also sort of a comfort level where it feels like it’s a place to explore and examine different ideas and try different things. And that was the experience [with Berry]. I loved every second of it.”
Mutual Admiration Between the Stars
Berry echoed Hemsworth’s sentiments, expressing her admiration for him in return. She described Hemsworth as “one of my new favorite people in the whole wide world.” In a touching moment, the Oscar-winning actress revealed how Hemsworth stood up for her during filming: “[He’s] a stand-up guy. I won’t go into it now, but he stood up for me in a moment in our movie, and instantly I knew right then I’m gonna follow this guy, be a fan of this guy for the rest of his life because he stood up for a woman. He didn’t have to do it, and he did it.”
