From April 7 until April 11, first-person shooter enthusiasts have the opportunity to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at no cost. While the campaign mode remains inaccessible during this period, gamers can dive into a limited yet thrilling selection of Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay.
In the midst of heightened excitement surrounding the return of Verdansk in Warzone, fans of Black Ops 6 have plenty to discover. Season 3, launched on April 2, introduces a fresh Battle Pass along with new multiplayer maps, modes, and weapons. Enthusiasts of the franchise were particularly delighted by the revival of the classic Firing Range map and the introduction of two new uniquely designed maps, with more content expected in the upcoming mid-season update. Additionally, Season 3 brings back beloved weapons from the Modern Warfare series, such as the Kilo 141 and the HDR sniper rifle.
Details of the Free Trial for Black Ops 6
The ongoing free trial offers an ideal entry point for genre fans who haven’t yet explored Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 3. Activision has opened access to 25 multiplayer maps, which includes newly launched locations such as Firing Range, Barrage, and Nomad. Alongside this, players can immerse themselves in 10 distinct game modes. For those who favor the Zombies aspect, all related maps—Liberty Falls, Terminus, The Tomb, Citadelle Des Morts, and Shattered Veil—are also part of the free trial experience. This limited-time opportunity is valid until 10 AM PT on April 11.

This latest free trial announcement comes immediately following the previous 24-hour promotion that allowed players to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 when Season 3 launched. Unfortunately, this short window of access coincided with server maintenance for Call of Duty: Warzone, which left Warzone fans unable to play until April 3. During the server downtime, Activision strategically made Black Ops 6 free to maintain community engagement.

Additionally, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is currently hosting a double XP event, ending today on April 8. This bonus event, extended with the release of Season 3, allows players to boost their experience with double-level XP and double-weapon XP. With hours left for this special event, players eager to maximize their progress during the free trial should dive into the game as soon as possible. Notably, any advancements made during the trial will carry over once the full game is purchased on the same account.
