Who is Lumpens?
Lumpens is the creative video production venture founded and operated by Yong-seok Choi. The intriguing nickname was bestowed upon him by a college professor, drawing inspiration from a German insult. His journey in the music video landscape started in 2011 as part of ‘thecreatorsproject,’ where he collaborated with renowned artist Yoon Mi-rae.
Choi has gained significant recognition for directing some of BTS’s most iconic music videos, beginning with their debut track, No More Dream. His impressive portfolio includes hits like I Need You, Blood Sweat and Tears, Spring Day, Fire, and Butter.
Beyond BTS, Lumpens has worked with a variety of artists across the K-pop spectrum, collaborating with groups such as ENHYPEN, Sistar, and Wonder Girls, as well as solo stars like Lee Hyori, Rain, Cho Yong-pil, and IU.
Highlights of j-hope’s Hope on the Stage World Tour
j-hope’s Hope on the Stage marks his inaugural global concert tour, proudly representing his debut album Jack in the Box and the EP Hope on the Street Vol.1. The tour commenced with three shows at Seoul’s KSPO Dome from February 28 to March 2, 2025, before traveling across the United States, Mexico, and Asia, concluding with performances in Japan on June 1, 2025.
