Following his discharge from military service on June 12, 2024, Jin wasted no time in maintaining an incredible workload. He made a noteworthy appearance at BTS’ FESTA 2024 mere days after his return, participating in the celebration of the group’s 11th anniversary with their fans.
In November 2024, Jin released his debut solo album, Happy, featuring tracks such as “I’ll Be There”and “Running Wild.”The album performed admirably on global charts, achieving platinum status in both Korea and Japan.
Looking ahead, he is poised to unveil his second solo album, Echo, on May 16, 2025, which includes seven tracks, including a collaboration with artist YENA. To connect with fans, Jin has organized a video call fansign event, providing a unique opportunity for one-on-one interactions with selected supporters worldwide.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Jin has been omnipresent on television. He launched his own variety show, Run Jin, which wrapped up on April 15, and has appeared in a range of programs, including Netflix’s Kian’s Bizarre B&B, The K-Star Next Door Season 4, Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island, and Handsome Guys.
