BTS’ j-hope Discusses the Highly Anticipated Comeback of the Group

Anticipation Building for BTS’ Return: Insights from j-hope

On March 17, 2025, during an interview on SiriusXM K-Pop Specials, j-hope of BTS shared his thoughts on the group’s highly anticipated comeback. He expressed that the reunion would be nothing short of extraordinary, especially considering their last team activities took place in 2022. After a four-year hiatus, j-hope acknowledged the excitement among fans, highlighting their eagerness to witness the group’s return.

As conveyed by X user @mhereonlyforbts, j-hope remarked:

“I think it’ll be unbelievable and it was I think 2022 when we last got together as a group and so if we come together it’ll be after four years I think and the level of anticipation from the fans are really high that I know I mean I am even curious how it will be like as a team after we get all together after military service.”

A New Dynamic Post-Solo Projects

j-hope noted that the atmosphere surrounding this comeback would markedly differ from that of 2022. All seven BTS members have explored their musical talents through solo albums and various projects since then, potentially fostering a new synergy upon their reunion. He shared:

“The situation is a little bit different from 2022 because everyone would have done their own solo album performances and then getting back together as a team so I am also curious about that too.”

Aligning Energies for a Successful Reunion

Further elaborating on the importance of collaboration, j-hope emphasized the need for the group to align their energies as they come together. In his words:

“Because as a team the level of energy of 7 members should be aligned so we need to put a lot of effort like put it together, but one on the other hand it’s something very natural because there’s seven of us.”

Bandmates’ Support for Solo Endeavors

In the conversation, j-hope also revealed how his bandmates, including Jungkook, have responded positively to his latest track, “Sweet Dreams”featuring Miguel. He expressed gratitude for the support he received:

“Jungkook was one of the members who listened to it first, and then other members got it listened to again, and when they all had positive feedback, and they were very supportive because it’s an easy lesson song I try to put it out there for just my friends and then it also had positive feedback and also all the other stuff, I’m very proud of this project.”

Upcoming Releases

Adding to the excitement, j-hope is set to release his much-anticipated single “Mona Lisa” on March 21, 2025, further amplifying the anticipation surrounding BTS’ return.
