BTS Comic Released in the US Faces Negative Reactions Due to Art Style

According to Reuters on January 4th, the publisher TidalWave is introducing a 22-page comic book featuring BTS as the latest addition to the ‘FAME’ series.

The ‘FAME’ series is a collection of comics that introduces the life stories of celebrities such as singers, actors, and sports stars. Previously, ‘FAME’ featured Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, 50 Cent, Jennifer Lawrence, and David Beckham.

‘FAME: BTS,’ depicts BTS’s journey since their debut in 2013, producing numerous hit songs and engaging in social contributions, growing into a global pop star.

Additionally, the comic also portrays BTS members’ enlistment process starting with Jin in 2022, showing their transformation from K-pop idols to military soldiers.

‘FAME: BTS’ is produced in both paper and digital formats and is set to be officially released on January 10th.
