Brianna Stern, a model based in Los Angeles, has initiated legal action against the controversial social media figure Andrew Tate. The lawsuit, lodged on March 27 in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, alleges that Stern endured physical and emotional abuse during their ten-month relationship.
The relationship reportedly concluded violently on March 10 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where Stern claims that Tate physically assaulted and strangled her. To bolster her allegations, she shared multiple images, status updates, and screenshots on social media platform X on March 28.
In a revealing post, Stern shared a photograph showcasing visible bruises on her face, accompanied by a caption that read:
“YOU ARE MY PROPERTY. My name is Bri Stern. I’m from Los Angeles, California. I met Andrew Tate in the summer of 2024, and we were in a relationship for almost a year…”
In subsequent posts, Stern alleged that Tate threatened her life, stating:
“Andrew texted me recently and let me know ‘if you ever betray me, you will regret it.’ He has told me on many occasions before that if I crossed him, he would ruin my life, r*pe me, or kill me.”

In her series of posts on X, Stern detailed instances of physical violence attributed to Tate. Reflecting on their initial encounter, she explained that they met when he sought models for a cryptocurrency project, where he allegedly promised to assist her with her investments.
Their relationship was characterized by extensive communication, even in their absence, leading Stern to believe she was a supportive partner. Plans were made for a future together in both Romania and Miami, with Tate expressing a desire to build a life with her and have children.
However, despite these aspirations, Stern alleges that Tate inflicted significant harm. She referenced a particularly alarming conversation where Tate asserted that she “needed to be hit,”further exemplifying his alleged abusive behavior.
During their last encounter at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Stern claims that Tate referred to her as his property, asserting:
“Shut the f*ck up, b*tch. You will never backtalk me. You are my property.”
She expressed her discomfort regarding physical aggression, claiming, “Physical violence is a huge ‘no’ for me,” particularly in the context of their intimate interactions.
Reflecting on her realization of Tate’s abusive nature, Stern said:
“Something just clicked; I finally recognized that someone who truly loved me wouldn’t say those things to me or hurt me repeatedly the way that he did. I think for the first time, I realized the gravity of the situation…”
Despite the difficulties, Stern found the strength to leave Tate, walking out of the hotel with her belongings. She recounted a fearful moment, stating:
“I was scared to death.. So scared I was terrified that I might die.”
In her first interview following the legal filing, Stern reported experiencing online threats for her decision to speak out against Tate, expressing her fears:
“I’m scared of him.. No one has ever really spoken out against him before.”
The lawsuit demands a restraining order and punitive damages against Tate, as reported by the BBC. This legal action coincides with ongoing investigations into Tate and his brother for human trafficking, money laundering, and rape in both the UK and Romania.
In response to Stern’s allegations, Tate’s attorney has dismissed the claims as “unfounded and sensational,”according to a report from NBC dated March 29.
