The narrative then shifts back to Ryu who has taken control of the situation, using his Iron Sand to subdue Araya and Mitsuki effectively. As Araya attempts to persuade Sarada and Yodo to flee, Ryu engages them in negotiation. He proposes a deal: if they can provide information about Boruto Otsutsuki and his allies, he would release their captured teammates.

Yodo, aware of the high stakes, presses Sarada to divulge what she knows to save their comrades, yet she realizes she lacks any real intel on Boruto. In a strategic move, Yodo offers to assist Ryu using her enemy-detection abilities, asking for the freedom of the other shinobi in return.

He invites her to hold his hands, suggesting a deepening of their relationship. But as she grasps him, he prepares to unleash two Giant Rasengan, only to hesitate upon hearing her call him “Konohamaru-chan.”This moment of compassion allows Matsuri to escape and launch a counteroffensive.

Witnessing this turn of events, Jura relays the information to his comrades Hidari and Mamushi.

Finally, the focus moves back to the escalating tension between Ryu and the shinobi. He pierces Yodo with his Iron Sand, dismissing her plea as he grows impatient with her tone. Meanwhile, Sarada rushes to Yodo’s side, where Yodo reveals her belief that Sarada has a hidden power within her that lies dormant. Yodo encourages Sarada to utilize this ability, speculating that it may only need to be harnessed to protect someone dearly relatable to her.

As Ryu attempts to manipulate Sarada with his Iron Sand, a surprising turn of events occurs; the Iron Sand begins to peel away, gravitating towards a singular point, revealing Sarada’s activation of her Mangekyo Sharingan ability.
