Blue Lock Chapter 298: Nagi Misses Goal for Manshine City Amid Final Rankings Announcement

With the recent release of Blue Lock chapter 298, the intense match between Manshine City and FC Barcha finally reached its conclusion. This pivotal chapter also unveiled the final auction value rankings of the players in the Neo Egoist League. However, the outcome was shocking for fans as one unexpected player did not make the cut.

In the preceding chapter, Nagi faced a potential turnover when Lavinho challenged him while he attempted to energize Reo. In a critical moment, Chris Prince regained possession for Manshine City and fed the ball to Reo, who then scored a goal, firmly securing his position in the top 23 players. Nagi, though, found himself fueled by this turn of events.

Titled “Alone, Together,”Blue Lock chapter 298 featured Seishiro Nagi expressing his desire for Reo Mikage to stop passing the ball to him. While Reo had already guaranteed his position in the top ranks with his recent goal, Nagi was still in need of a scoring opportunity to elevate his status.

Understanding the necessity to forge his own path, Nagi, despite Reo’s willingness to assist, took the initiative to drive an offensive play. He intercepted a pass from Bachira and teamed up with Agi and Chigiri Hyoma to create an offensive assault.

After several strategic passes among the trio, Agi set up Nagi with a prime volley opportunity. However, instead of taking a straightforward shot, Nagi decided to attempt a fake volley. This little trick allowed him to bypass one defender, but Eita Otoya and his teammates had anticipated Nagi’s well-known “Five-Shot Revolver Fake Volley.”

As Nagi hesitated to manage the possession effectively, he sought Reo’s support once more. Tragically, the anticipated pass was intercepted by Meguru Bachira, who quickly transitioned into an offensive move, ultimately scoring the winning goal for FC Barcha.

Tragically for Seishiro Nagi, he found himself ranked 24th with an auction value of 24 million yen. This shocking development left even Yoichi Isagi reeling.
