Blox Fruits Major Update Launch in December 2024

Blox Fruits has just unveiled the highly anticipated Dragon Rework update, resulting in a dramatic surge of active players—reportedly doubling within minutes of its release. This significant Update 24 introduces a variety of alterations, including the introduction of new fruits and weapons, alongside an increased level cap. Notably, the beloved Dragon fruit has made its long-awaited return. This powerful, PvP-focused Mythical Beast-type fruit was previously removed in earlier game updates.

While Blox Fruits continues to be a popular title on Roblox, substantial updates are infrequent. In fact, the last major update occurred almost a year ago, which contributes to the excitement surrounding any new release. This high anticipation is reflected in the player count, which has soared to over two million, marking the highest number recorded this year.

Major Updates in Blox Fruits Update 24 (Dragon Rework)

Within Update 24, players can once again purchase the reworked Dragon fruit for 5,000 Robux. Additionally, new fruits such as Gas and Blade have been introduced, with Blade taking the place of the previous Chop fruit. The beloved Diamond fruit has also received a makeover, alongside updates to the Dragon Talon fighting style and several islands and weapon designs. Alongside these fruity enhancements, players can look forward to new weaponry including the Dragonheart sword and the Dragonstorm gun. Furthermore, numerous new animations for NPCs, auras, and instincts have been added. The update also raises the game’s level cap from 2,550 to 2,600, providing players with even more opportunities for progression.

The Future of Blox Fruits Appears Promising

The year 2024 has been a bit of a rollercoaster for Blox Fruits, with player numbers fluctuating significantly throughout the year. The developers must be thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive reception to the Dragon Rework update, as it injects renewed energy into the game just ahead of the holiday season. Additionally, they may find solace in the relatively lackluster response to the recently launched One Piece Grand Arena—a licensed Roblox game based on the beloved One Piece franchise—which has attracted only around 500 active players thus far.
