The much-anticipated Shattered Veil has launched in Black Ops 6, emerging as the most expansive map to date. This new environment is brimming with secrets and challenges, including a difficult Easter Egg quest. Players are currently uncovering various elements of the map, from combating the formidable Elder Disciple to obtaining the powerful Ray Gun Mk II. In addition to these main quests, there exist engaging side Easter Eggs that present players with enjoyable tasks and rewarding upgrades.
Among these side activities, certain Easter Eggs offer significant benefits, such as granting free Perks, allowing players to enhance their gameplay without using Essence. Unlocking a Free Pack-a-Punched Marine SP in the Shattered Veil
Preparation & Activation Steps
To Pack-a-Punch the Marine SP for free, players first need to upgrade the weapon to at least Rare rarity. This can be done through several methods: advancing through rounds until the Marine SP wall buy at the Motor Court reaches Rare status, utilizing a Rare Aether Tool obtained from S.A.M. Trials, or using Salvage at the Arsenal Machine for a manual upgrade.
After acquiring a Rare-tier Marine SP, players must purchase the Death Perception Perk, which can be found in the West Hallways.
Next, players should proceed to the Banquet Hall, where they will find three deer heads. With Death Perception active, a shotgun mount beneath these heads will become visible. Players must place the Marine SP on this mount, initiating the Easter Egg.
Earning an Epic Marine SP Shotgun at No Cost
After placing the Rare Marine SP on the mount, the deer head’s eyes will glow. Players must shoot the left deer head, which will display an icon indicating a specific Field Upgrade. To progress, players need to eliminate enough zombies near the deer heads while activating the corresponding Field Upgrade. Should players have a different Field Upgrade equipped, they can switch it by pausing the game and selecting the correct one from the menu.
Upon successfully killing the required zombies while the accurate Field Upgrade is active, Parasites will begin to spawn, followed by a Mangler. Players must defeat the Mangler within a designated time frame. After doing so, players can collect the Marine SP from the mount, which will then have been upgraded to Epic rarity and equipped with a random Ammo Mod.
Upgrading to a Legendary Marine SP Shotgun for Free
After upgrading to an Epic Marine SP, players can progress to the next round and repeat the process for a further upgrade. Place the weapon back onto the mount, shoot the left deer head to display the new required Field Upgrade, and eliminate sufficient zombies nearby to advance.
This time, the Parasites will swarm in greater numbers, accompanied by two additional Manglers. Players must dispatch both Manglers within a time constraint. Once both foes are defeated, returning to the Marine SP will yield an upgrade to Legendary rarity, all without spending a single Essence point.
Achieving a Tier I Pack-a-Punch Marine SP Shotgun for Free
After reaching Legendary rarity, players should enter another round and repeat the upgrade process. Again, place the weapon onto the mount, shoot the left deer head to unlock the required Field Upgrade, and kill enough zombies in proximity to continue.
Similar to previous stages, Parasites will spawn, but this time, they’ll be accompanied by two Manglers and an Amalgam. Players must eliminate all Manglers and the Amalgam within a narrow timeframe. Successful completion will upgrade the Marine SP to Tier I Pack-a-Punch status without consuming any Essence.
Interestingly, players who exit and restart their game after entering a new round can engage in this final step two more times. This allows them to potentially boost the Marine SP up to a Tier III Pack-a-Punch level.
