Best WSP-9 Warzone loadout: Class setup, attachments, Perks

The WSP-9 has seen a surge in popularity following a buff and now players are eager to get the most out of this powerful SMG. Here is the best WSP 9 loadout to use in Warzone and win more games.

The Season 2 update has seen the WSP-9 jump in popularity following a huge buff. It not only had its damage range increased but also its ADS speed improved making it more deadly from further away and snappier to use.

These changes have resulted in the Uzi-inspired SMG going from a mid-tier viable weapon to one of the best in Warzone. However, it is quite particular and has to be built in a specific way to get the most out of it.

With that said, this is the best WSP-9 loadout to use in Warzone and dominate across both Urzikstan and Resurgence.

Best WSP-9 Warzone loadout

  • Muzzle: Sonic Suppressor S
  • Barrel: WSP Reckless-90 Long Barrel
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Duster Heavy Stock
  • Magazine: 50 Round Mag

With the WSP-9 being one of the slowest-firing automatic weapons in Modern Warfare 3, you have to be accurate as missed shots are especially costly. Given this and the WSP-9’s naturally high visual recoil, we like using the Duster Heavy Stock for the massive boost in Firing Aim Stability it provides.

Another unique problem for the WSP-9 is that its iron sights leave a lot to be desired. As such, a suitable close-range optic is practically a must and for that, there’s no option better than the Slate Reflector. However, if that doesn’t work for you consider trying out the Slimline Pro, Cronen Mini Pro, or Mk.3 Reflector instead.

With the visual recoil reduced the WSP-9 becomes one of the most accurate weapons in Warzone even without other recoil-reducing attachments. As a result, we can solely focus on improving bullet velocity and damage range, and the best attachments for that are the Sonic Suppressor S muzzle and WSP Reckless-90 Long Barrel.

As typical of any meta Warzone loadout, this build is rounded off with the extended 50 Round Mag which ensures you won’t have to reload at a crucial moment. This is especially important in Trios and Quads where a small magazine can cost your whole squad an otherwise winnable gunfight.

The WSP-9 makes up for its slower fire rate by dealing a lot of damage.

WSP-9 Warzone Loadout: Perks and Equipment

  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
  • Perk 3: Tracker
  • Perk 4: High Alert
  • Lethal: Molotov Cocktail
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade

Double Time stands out as the strongest Perk 1 in Warzone as it greatly boosts mobility by enhancing Tactical Sprint. As for Perk slot 2, Sleight of Hand makes the WSP-9 reload faster minimizing the time swapping magazines and maximizing the time spent dealing damage.

With the WSP-9 being an SMG you have the opportunity to play fast and push other Warzone squads. Given this, Tracker is a nice option as it reveals enemy footsteps letting you better keep track of where they are.

While there are a few solid choices for Perk slot 4, High Alert is the best choice with this weapon as it lets you know when enemies are aiming in your direction. This can easily save your life and is especially important with the low TTK currently in Warzone.

Equipment-wise, the Molotov Cocktail offers an interesting option with an SMG like the WSP-9 as its prolonged burning effect delays healing making it easier to hunt down other players. As for tactical, landing a Stun Grenade practically guarantees a gunfight win by immobilizing the enemy.

How to unlock WSP-9 in Warzone

The WSP-9 is unlocked through the Armory which first requires you to reach Level 25, activate the WSP-9, and complete three daily challenges. Alternatively, extracting with the submachine gun in Zombies will also unlock it.

Best alternative to WSP-9 in Warzone

The Striker is another slower-firing SMG that is extremely accurate and can compete against assault rifles at medium range. It isn’t quite as potent as the WSP-9 but it is still worth considering given its clear strengths.
