Despite an incredible 2022-23 campaign, Cavs star Donovan Mitchell could not surpass Devin Booker for the top spot among Shooting Guards. Mitchell finished 2022-23 with the seventh-best points per game average in the NBA and helped carry Cleveland to the playoffs for the first time since 2017-18.
Still, the NBA 2K23 cover athlete in Booker — who did have a strong year himself — sits atop the shooting guard category at 94 OVR.
After Booker and Mitchell, Kyrie Irving, Jaylen Brown, and Paul George round out the top five. All three had strong seasons in 2022-23, including Kyrie Irving. Irving, like Donovan and Brown, finished in the top ten in points per game.
The top ten also features several notable names, including Timberwolves standout Anthony Edwards, breakout star from 2022-23 Mikal Bridges, and new Suns guard Bradley Beal.
