Best MW3 loadouts: Ultimate gun tier list for multiplayer

Though the Season 2 Reloaded update had a bigger impact on Warzone than it did multiplayer, that doesn’t mean it didn’t affect the meta of both game modes.

Several weapons received buffs and nerfs including multiple guns that were already considered top-tier by much of the community. This has led to a few standout options taking over and you’ll be at a big disadvantage using anything else.

Here are the best MW3 guns that are currently dominating the multiplayer meta in Season 2 Reloaded.

5. BP50

Even after its nerfs, the BP50 is a fantastic jack-of-all-trades assault rifle.

When it was first released in Season 2, the BP50 was overtuned and comfortably the best guns in multiplayer. Nerfs in Season 2 Reloaded has weakened it somewhat with its mobility being tweaked a lot. Even so, it’s still a wonderful AR-SMG hybrid that works on any map, any game mode, and any loadout.

Since the BP50 is so versatile there are countless ways to build this gun. Our loadout optimizes for a flanking playstyle that makes it easier to get behind the enemy team, but this is by no means the only way to dominate with this top-tier weapon.

4. RAM-9

The RAM-9 is extremely strong in close quarters.

Introduced at the beginning of Season 2, the RAM-9 did not take long to establish itself as a top-tier SMG. This newcomer is one of the best guns in MW3 thanks to its incredible TTK and overall lethality in close-quarters gunfights.

That lethality comes with a catch though as the RAM-9 is a difficult weapon to control at the best of times. To counteract this our loadout looks to reduce recoil as much as possible while still managing to improve the meta submachine gun’s mobility and handling.

3. XRK Stalker

The XRK Stalker is the best all-around sniper rifle in MW3.

Though the Longbow has a higher skill ceiling, the XRK Stalker is much easier to use. It has a very forgiving one-shot kill and practically unlimited range. It’s still unclear how this managed to receive a buff in Season 2 Reloaded when it was already one of the best weapons in Modern Warfare 3, but we’re not complaining.

This loadout looks to maximize mobility and handling while still ensuring the XRK Stalker serves its intended role as a sniper rifle. Those who want to create a true max aggression build should instead equip a Reflex Sight or even try out the new Iron Sight attachments for that classic Ballista feel.

2. WSP Swarm

The WSP Swarm is lethal up close making it the perfect run and gun SMG.

The WSP Swarm is not a versatile weapon, but that doesn’t stop it from being one of the best guns in multiplayer. This SMG has the best TTK at close range and gives incredible mobility making it the best weapon for both aggressive and flanking playstyles.

It can be quite the handful to control so to improve this we stack recoil-reducing attachments on our loadout and use a clean close-range optic to make tracking enemies easier. These attachments were specifically chosen to avoid ruining the WSP Swarm’s greatest asset, its mobility.

1. MCW

The MCW is both laser accurate and can down enemies quickly making it truly top-tier.

It should be a surprise to see the MCW top with this assault rifle dominating the multiplayer meta for months thanks to its incredible accuracy. It doesn’t have the best TTK or handling but it does offer unmatched consistency and ease of use placing it firmly ahead of the competition.

Since the MCW is all about accuracy it’s best to build for this with recoil-reducing and damage range-improving attachments. Throw on an optic of choice and some Handling to keep the AR feeling snappy and you’re left with undoubtedly the best gun in Modern Warfare 3.

What is the best gun in MW3 Season 2 Reloaded?

The MCW is currently the best gun in Modern Warfare 3 as it is not only extremely accurate but also hits hard regardless of range. It can struggle up close but as long as you keep your distance nothing will outgun this meta assault rifle.

Interestingly, the MCW is also the best gun in Warzone making the AR one of the most dominant Call of Duty weapons we’ve ever seen. Given this, a nerf is likely on the way so be sure to try it out before it’s too late.
