The MTZ-762 is a weapon that’s on the rise with Warzone players starting to realize how strong it is, and with our meta loadout, you’ll dominate Urzikstan too using this meta battle rifle.
When Urzikstan arrived several guns were quickly disregarded as they were too difficult to use at longer ranges. Most notably, the RAM-7 went from being completely ignored to a legitimate top-tier meta option.
As players figure out this year’s gunsmith and become more aware of which attachments are best, more viable options emerge. The MTZ-762 is the latest example of this with the overlooked battle rifle turning out to be incredible with the right build.
With that said, here’s our MTZ-762 Warzone loadout optimized for low recoil and ease of use.

Best MTZ-762 Warzone loadout
- Muzzle: Casus Brake L
- Barrel: MTZ-Precision Blackthorn Barrel
- Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
- Stock: EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock
- Magazine: 30 Round Mag
While the MTZ-762 deals a lot of damage it does produce a lot of visual recoil under fire making it harder to hit targets consistently. To fix this a combination of the Casus Brake L muzzle and MTZ-Precision Blackthorn Barrel is recommended with these also improving bullet velocity and damage range.
While those two attachments largely fix the gun’s visual recoil problems they don’t impact its actual recoil nearly as much. For this, you’ll want to equip the EXF Close Quarters Assault Stock which makes the MTZ-762 very accurate even at extreme ranges.
As with any Warzone weapon, a larger magazine is typically best and the MTZ-762’s 30 Round Mag is no exception. Finally, a suitable medium to long-range optic like the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x makes landing shots from afar much easier.

Although the MTZ-762 has a lot of recoil it’s possible to make it extremely accurate with the right loadout.
MTZ-762 Warzone Loadout: Perks and Equipment
- Perk 1: Double Time
- Perk 2: Mountaineer
- Perk 3: Cold-Blooded
- Perk 4: Birdseye
- Lethal: Frag Grenade
- Tactical: Smoke Grenade
In slot 1, Double Time is always a strong choice as it doubles Tactical Sprint duration and reduces its refresh time. Partnering this with Mountaineer works well with this underrated Perk not only doubling your fall damage resistance but also completely removing the movement penalty after landing.
With the MTZ-762 being a precision weapon Cold-Blooded makes sense with it preventing enemy High Alert users from taking advantage of the meta Perk. Otherwise, players may preemptively dodge incoming shots making it harder to down them with a higher recoil weapon.
For Perk slot 4, Birdseye offers an interesting choice as it greatly enhances the effects of UAVs. When equipped it not only speeds up how fast they scan but until reveals Ghost users which is perfect for flushing out enemies hiding with the stealthy Perk.
The best lethal equipment to use is the Frag Grenade which can be cooked to perfection to prevent enemy players from dodging. Meanwhile, a Smoke Grenade reigns king in the tactical slot with it providing makeshift cover to cross open areas and rescue teammates.

Best alternative to MTZ-762 in Warzone
Another battle rifle with a competitive TTK is the BAS-B, which is just as easy to use as the MTZ-762 but struggles to have quite the same impact at long range. Even so, its superior handling makes it a better sniper support and more suited to aggressive play.
