Mega Absol is part of the many Mega Evolutions the game has in store, such as fan favorites Mega Gengar, Mega Steelix, and more.
Even though Absol debuted in Pokemon Go back in 2017 alongside the full Hoenn Pokedex, its Mega version wasn’t introduced until the 2021 Halloween event. Now, this elegant beast is coming back for a limited time.
From Thursday, February 15, 2024, until Thursday, February 22, 2024, Mega Absol will be the sole protagonist of Mega Raid battles, right after Mega Latios & Mega Latias leave and before Mega Garchomp takes the spotlight.
If you happen to have a Mega Absol or are planning on catching one during this event, here’s the best moveset you can teach this Pokemon in the game.

Is Mega Absol any good in Pokemon Go?
Mega Absol might not be the bulkiest Pokemon, but its strong ATK stat makes it one wonderful beast to have on your team. More so, it’s the Dark-type Pokemon with the highest offensive damage per second.
However, keep in mind that because of its low DEF and STAT, it won’t be able to take too much damage, so be ready to dodge everything that comes your way or spend all your shields.
