Best MCW Warzone loadout: Class setup, attachments, Perks

After a huge buff in Season 2 Reloaded, the MCW is now the best weapon in Warzone and you don’t want to miss out on this meta weapon. Here’s the best loadout to get the most out of this dominant assault rifle.

Though the MCW was an unspectacular choice when the MW3 integration was first released, it has since become a top-tier option. A massive damage buff in Season 2 Reloaded has elevated this once-mediocre rifle to the top of the meta.

The MCW has almost no recoil making it an obvious choice for Warzone where gunfights from beyond 100 meters are not uncommon. If you use an optimized build and play to the AR’s strengths, there’s very little that can compete with this weapon at medium to long range.

To dominate using the MCW you’ll want to use this meta loadout designed specifically to make the most of this dominant assault rifle’s biggest strength, it’s accuracy.

Best MCW Warzone loadout

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Stock: RB Regal Heavy Stock
  • Magazine: 60 Round Drum

Given the MCW’s exceptional accuracy, it’s best to build for range. The two most impactful attachments to improve damage range are the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor muzzle and the 16.5″ MCW Cyclone Long Barrel. Not only do these maximize the MCW’s effective range, but the muzzle also suppresses the gun keeping you hidden.

Thanks to the MCW’s low recoil it’s possible to use a long-range optic like the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x which makes tracking enemies at long range much easier. In fact, this is easily the best automatic weapon for pressuring targets at long range thanks to its unmatched ease of use.

Although its recoil is excellent already it doesn’t hurt to improve it even further and make the MCW truly laser-accurate. To accomplish this we recommend equipping the RB Regal Heavy Stock which greatly reduces vertical kick letting you keep shots on target at all times.

Finally, the 60 Round Drum is excellent as it doubles the amount of bullets you can fire before having to reload. Although larger magazines are always worth using in Warzone, it is especially important on the MCW due to its high fire rate.

MCW Warzone Loadout: Perks and Equipment

  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Bomb Squad
  • Perk 3: Resupply
  • Perk 4: Ghost
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

Double Time remains an excellent Perk slot 1 option as it lets you move around Urzikstan faster by doubling the duration of Tactical Sprint. This partners well with Bomb Squad in slot 2 which can bail you out of an otherwise lethal explosive if you happen to run into an enemy Claymore or Proximity Mine.

For the third Perk slot, Resupply is an underrated choice that constantly replenishes your equipment. This is excellent for supporting your team, especially as it will keep you topped up on Smoke Grenades.

Ghost stands out as the best fourth Perk with this setup as it lets you take advantage of the suppressor and stay of the enemy radar at all times.

Finally, the combination of a Throwing Knife and Smoke Grenade works best for equipment. The former offers you a lethal that can immediately finish off downed enemies while the latter is a must-have for transitioning through open areas and reviving teammates safely.
