Diablo Immortal has revealed an exciting crossover with the renowned manga Berserk, kicking off on May 1. This collaboration is part of Blizzard’s strategy to enhance player engagement, with plans to roll out fresh content throughout 2025.
Since its inception in August 1989, Berserk has captivated audiences with its dark fantasy narrative centering around Guts, a mercenary navigating a perilous realm filled with monsters and dark magic, driven by revenge. Featuring iconic characters like Griffith and Casca, Berserk has transcended its original format, leading to anime adaptations, novels, and video games. Now, fans of both franchises can rejoice as Berserk makes its impactful entrance into Diablo Immortal.
Diablo Immortal and Berserk: A Unique Collaborative Experience
Running from May 1 to May 30, the Struggler’s Path event in Diablo Immortal invites players to confront Nosferatu Zodd, a powerful Apostle from the Berserk universe, to earn various rewards. Players will experience a thrilling 60-second challenge during the Eclipse period in the Survivor’s Bane minigame, facing relentless waves of demon attacks. Additionally, participants can obtain the new Crimson Behelit Legendary Gem, a special item that enhances damage while at full health and mitigates damage when health is low.
One of the highlights of the event includes a charming new Golem familiar dressed in a leafy skin, adding a whimsical touch to the gameplay. Two exclusive armor sets will allow players to embody Guts and Griffith, two of the most formidable characters from the Berserk series. Blizzard promises to provide players with a total of eight collaboration skins – including one for each class – as well as weapon skins featuring the legendary Dragon Slayer greatsword. Adventurers logging in during the event can expect to receive an array of rewards, including the Struggler’s Path Weapon Cosmetic, the Crimson Behelit Legendary Gem, Eclipse Portal Cosmetic, Eclipse Frame, and 10 Legendary Crests.
Recently, Diablo Immortal introduced the Prince of Freedom update in April, which brought a slew of new quests, equipment, and marketplace enhancements. The game will also see the Flesh Harvest update in July, featuring a brand-new class, followed by The First and Last King patch in October, offering additional quests and content updates.
