Key Moments from Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Episode 8

A Confrontation with Wihan

As the episode commenced, Lara and Tzarina tackled various challenges but ultimately managed to provide commendable service to the charter guests. However, they grew increasingly frustrated with Wihan’s choice to prioritize socializing with Adair over assisting with the picnic arrangements.

In a direct confrontation, Lara and Tzarina called out Wihan for shirking his duties, accusing him of neglecting his responsibilities to compose a love letter rather than focusing on his work on the yacht.

Even with the mishap, the charter guests enjoyed the picnic and complimented Tzarina’s culinary skills. Despite this, Lara harbored doubts about Wihan’s commitment and contributions aboard the yacht, questioning his overall priorities.

Captain Jason’s Discovery

Amidst the escalating tension, Captain Jason intervened, urging department heads to resolve unresolved issues to ensure the guests’ experience was not compromised.

Later in the episode, Captain Jason opted to relocate the vessel due to hazardous swell conditions. However, while Johnny battled with the anchor, he faced difficulties executing the captain’s orders.

Upon reviewing the CCTV footage, Captain Jason was dismayed to find Wihan neglecting his work duties, distracted by images of tortoises on his device. Although relieved that Johnny completed the task without injury, Captain Jason expressed frustration over Wihan’s lack of commitment.

Harry’s Frustration and Wihan’s Eavesdropping

As the episode progressed, Lara sought assistance from Harry and Wihan to organize requested Fear Factor-style games for the guests. While Harry stepped up to the challenge, he later felt exasperated by Wihan’s apparent reluctance to share the workload.

Frustrated by Wihan’s lack of effort, Harry aired his grievances to Captain Jason, expressing concerns over Wihan’s work ethic and the absence of a proper watch schedule. Unbeknownst to him, Wihan was secretly listening, feeling betrayed by Harry’s criticisms.

“Loyalty is extremely important to me. I don’t really know if I can trust this guy anymore,”Wihan expressed in a confessional moment, highlighting the fractured trust within the crew.

Later, Harry directly confronted Wihan about their communication issues, but Wihan attempted to deflect the blame by asserting that he had received “zero complaints”.
