In a significant move for the electronic music landscape, Armada Music Group’s dance-focused investment division, Beat Music Fund, has acquired extensive rights to a substantial portion of the catalog belonging to celebrated Canadian DJ and Turbo Recordings founder Tiga. This acquisition includes notable tracks such as “Sunglasses at Night,””Bugatti,””You Gonna Want Me,”and “Let’s Go Dancing.”
About the Deal
Founded in 2003 by renowned Dutch trance DJ Armin van Buuren, along with Maykel Piron and David Lewis, Armada Music has been pivotal in the evolution of electronic music. The recent deal encompasses the track “HAL,” featuring renowned artist Kölsch, further solidifying Tiga’s status as a leading figure in the techno scene. Collectively, Tiga’s works have achieved over 33 million streams on Spotify, highlighting his broad appeal and lasting impact.
