In episode 11, titled “Love, the Cross, and the Vampire,”Ranmaru faced off against his brother Nagayoshi, confronting the threat to his life and those he cares for. Tensions escalated as it was revealed that Nagayoshi was responsible for the death of Ranmaru’s past love, Ryoma Sakamoto. This revelation fueled Ranmaru’s determination to fight back.

Despite Ranmaru’s bravery, he struggled against Nagayoshi, who severed both of his arms during their battle. However, just when hope seemed lost, Ranmaru tapped into the power of love, hearing Rihito’s voice within him, which led to a miraculous regeneration of his severed limbs, allowing him to incapacitate Nagayoshi.

As the tide turned, Nagayoshi acknowledged his defeat, urging Ranmaru to kill him to save their loved ones. Ranmaru, bolstered by his feelings, refused to succumb to his brother’s threats, declaring that love would guide him.
