Atomfall Guide: Locating Jenks in Datlow Hall

The world of Atomfall presents a peculiar apocalyptic scenario teeming with eccentric characters, particularly within the enigmatic Casterfell Woods. This region is home to a variety of unexpected inhabitants, including druids, blue-skinned merchants, and the mysterious figure known as Mother Jago. However, one of the most peculiar individuals you will encounter is the oblivious Prudence Rook, who seems more interested in her foliage than her survival.

Despite the chaos that surrounds her, Prudence fixates on her garden while frantically searching for her missing butler, Jenks. This guide aims to assist players in locating Jenks and providing Prudence the support she desperately needs during these trying times.

Prudence resides in an expansive estate aptly named Datlow Hall, situated at the coordinates 26.2 E, 85.4 N in Casterfell Woods. Upon arrival, players will notice several tripwire traps scattered throughout the estate. As long as you have unlocked the Disarm Traps skill in the Skills menu, navigating these obstacles should be straightforward. If not, proceed with caution to jump over or evade these wires.

Accessing the front entrance will prove impossible due to it being barricaded. Instead, look for one of the side doors to enter the manor. Inside, players will encounter Prudence, who obliviously discusses her sister, Charity, who is busy with chores and preparing to host a group of scientists. Unfortunately, she also reveals that her butler Jenks has been missing and mentioned he was heading towards the dam to the northwest. This sets the stage for your quest to locate Jenks.

In Prudence’s meeting room, you’ll find a ladder leading to an upper level. Ascend the ladder and move to the right to discover a comic book collectible entitled “Rick Random In Sabotage From Space.”

To find Jenks, head to the Casterfell Dam located at coordinates 20.9 E, 90.9 N on your map. This area is rich in loot and crafting materials, but it is also heavily populated with aggressive druids, so proceed with care. As you explore the dam, you will eventually stumble upon Jenks’ lifeless body behind the main facility.

You can find his body specifically at coordinates 20.2 N, 90.4 N. Upon returning to Prudence with the news of Jenks’ demise, she misconstrues the information, believing he has quit. Mistakenly considering you to be Jenks’ replacement, she will hand over the Conservatory Key. Notably, she had previously cautioned against entering the conservatory, thus your next move is clear.

If players were to find Jenks’ body before returning to Prudence, they could inform her directly about his death at their initial meeting.

The entrance to the conservatory is located on the eastern side of the mansion. Utilize the Conservatory Key to unlock the door and uncover a skeleton alongside a rusty M. 1911 pistol and a note reading “I Hear The Voice.”It’s soon evident that the skeleton belongs to Charity, and the note conveys her infection with the disease ravaging the world of Atomfall.

Continuing the search through the conservatory will yield various crafting resources, ammunition, and the significant find of the Stealth Manual. This manual enhances player skills in stealth, proving invaluable for future challenges.

After addressing the situation regarding the Datlow Hall lead, players can opt to inform Prudence about her sister’s fate. Choosing this path may result in Prudence losing her grip on reality, prompting her to ignore the perils outside and retreat to care for her garden, believing she is now Charity. In light of this, it may be best to let her be.
