Atomfall features numerous locked boxes filled with valuable items scattered throughout its expansive world. One such box, located in Slatten Dale, is associated with a character named Agravaine, who had prepared supplies for a convoy of soldiers. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen helicopter crash, the soldiers won’t be coming to retrieve these supplies. For players, this presents a fantastic opportunity to loot the contents of Agravaine’s lockbox.
To access this box, players must first locate Agravaine’s Lockbox Key, which is found on the body of a fallen soldier. This key is conveniently positioned near the start of the game, making it easily obtainable.
Locating Agravaine’s Lockbox Key in Atomfall
The key was entrusted to a soldier tasked with searching for a missing platoon lost five years prior within the quarantine zone. Players should navigate to the coordinates 28.2 E, 71.1 N on the map. This location is positioned east of the initial red phone booth players encounter at the game’s outset. However, be cautious, as this area is under the surveillance of hostile outlaws that players must either sneak past or eliminate.
Upon arriving, players will find a helicopter crash site adjacent to a waterfall. Enter the wreckage to discover the body of a soldier named Private Dagonet. Searching his remains will yield Agravaine’s Lockbox Key and a coded note revealing the whereabouts of the supplies. With the key in hand, players can now set out to find the lockbox.
Additionally, players should investigate behind the nearby waterfall, where they will uncover a crate containing explosives and the corpse of another soldier, alongside a note titled Uncontrolled Landing.
Finding Agravaine’s Lockbox in Atomfall
The lockbox is hidden inside a large shed situated within the Railyard in Slatten Dale. As is customary in this region, numerous outlaws will be roaming about, so players should either stealthily maneuver around them or confront them directly if they are equipped with sufficient ammunition. The building containing the lockbox can be found at 28.4 E, 77.1 N on the map.
Inside the building, players will encounter a locked door on one side; however, around the back, a sizable metal door allows for entry by crawling underneath. Once inside, players will discover Agravaine’s Lockbox resting on a workbench next to a radio. Use the key to unlock this box, revealing a rusty MK. VI Revolver, additional pistol ammunition, and a recipe for crafting Sticky Bombs. It’s crucial to access the inventory and learn this crafting recipe, which enables players to create Sticky Bombs using 3 gunpowder, 6 glue, and 4 pieces of scrap.
Even if players have already secured the recipe for Sticky Bombs, acquiring every available crafting recipe is advantageous. Learned recipes can serve as barter items with NPCs who engage in trading, often allowing players to exchange them for high-value items, including other crafting recipes or Atomic Batteries.
