She possesses a lockbox secured with a key, which prompts players to embark on a quest to locate it. To retrieve June’s key, players must follow specific directions to uncover a hidden stash. Locating June’s Key in Atomfall
Before embarking on your quest for June’s Key, acquiring a Metal Detector is essential. You can find this tool in various locations, but the quickest access is by looting a corpse in Slatten Dale at the coordinates 29.1 E, 73.9 N.
With the Metal Detector in hand, proceed to the coordinates 27.9 E, 78.9 N, also in Slatten Dale. This area is swampy, so be cautious of the leeches lurking in the waters. By utilizing the Metal Detector, you will uncover a hidden cache containing a note titled “Farewell, Doctor.”This message from June reveals insights from a doctor who imparted knowledge regarding The Protocol, thus initiating The Little Tea Room Lead, which you can pursue further.
Next, journey to Wyndham Village. Generally, the soldiers affiliated with The Protocol will not be hostile unless you intrude into a boarded-up building. Your goal is to locate The Little Tea Room, situated at 34.6 E, 80.4 N. Access the building through a window to avoid detection. Ascend to the upper level, where you will discover June’s Key resting beside a skeleton that likely belonged to June herself.
Finding June’s Lockbox
Having obtained June’s Key, the next task is to find her lockbox. You’ll discover June’s Lockbox within the Village Hall in Wyndham Village, located at 33.4 E, 79.3 N. Inside the building, head towards the rear. The lockbox will be positioned next to a desk that also holds the crafting recipe for Burn Salve. When you unlock it, you will find a note entitled “June’s Errands,”which indicates that someone has been tasked with visiting the boathouse to plant flowers.
The aforementioned boathouse is found at coordinates 35.6 E, 82.7 N in Wyndham Village. Upon arrival, your Metal Detector will activate. Equip the device and follow the signals to uncover another secret stash. This cache contains two notes: one labeled “June’s Diary,”which discusses a scientist June knew from The Interchange, and another titled “Protocol’s Secrets,”which provides intel about a hidden Protocol bunker.
The bunker you seek is the Protocol Workshop located in Skethermoor at coordinates 38.0 E, 77.4 N. Expect heavy resistance from soldiers within the bunker, so prepare for combat. It also contains numerous B.A.R.D. Crates containing Training Stimulants, along with the Windfall Keycard for your further adventures.
