Starting Your Journey: How to Begin A Chance Encounter
To kick off this quest, head over to the Objectives Board found under the Shinbakufu section, specifically within “The Wise”category. This quest unlocks automatically once you’ve successfully completed “The Wheel Unmasked,”leading you directly to Omiwa Shrine, a previously undiscovered site in Yamato.
From your hideout, navigate north, then take the eastern path along the ridge. At Omiwa Shrine, look for Fuyu, who can be found in the northern portion of the area. Approaching her will trigger the start of an intriguing mission.
Exploring with Fuyu: The Path of the Shrines
Fuyu will lead you through the shrine complex, guiding you to three distinct shrines where you’ll need to offer prayers. Follow her closely throughout this segment:
- First Shrine: Located directly ahead. Interact with it to offer your prayer.
- Second Shrine: Situated to the east. You can traverse the terrain quickly to reach it.
- Third Shrine: Found southeast of the second shrine. Proceed down the left path behind the last shrine.
After performing the prayer at the third shrine, a cutscene will introduce Kojiro, who shows a keen interest in your mission in Yamato. He provides a lead that directs you to Tsutsui Junkei, an influential daimyo located near Koriyama Castle.
Confronting Tsutsui Junkei: The Next Step
To advance in the quest, make your way northwest toward Koriyama. You will find Junkei at the Tea Master’s House. Upon reaching the site, look for him by the building’s back entrance.
Engaging with Junkei offers two dialogue options to choose from:
- I fear the spirits.
- I worship as part of my education.
Ultimately, the choice you make here does not impact the quest’s outcome. Once the conversation concludes, players will earn 1,000 EXP, marking the end of the quest. At this juncture, you can choose to switch between characters Yasuke or Naoe, tailoring your approach for the upcoming missions.
