Palworld is finally out on PC and Xbox Games Pass and players around the world and delving into the Pokemon-inspired game. Like most creature-collecting games, Palworld features many colorful critters for players to collect and battle with.
Each Pal also has a variety of different elements, strengths, and weaknesses – giving your chosen team a lot of diversity. However, many Pokemon fans will be wondering if there are Shines in Palworld.

Are there Shiny Pals in Palworld?
Palworld features Lucky Pals — a variation of Shiny.
No, Palworld doesn’t have Shinies in the traditional sense of the word. Instead, players will be able to encounter rare variations of Pals. Speaking to DoT Esports, CEO of Pocketpair Takuro Mizobe discussed how players will be able to encounter Lucky Pals in the wild.
Lucky Pals “are more ferocious than regular Pals” and are also much larger than their regular counterparts. You’ll also hear and see glistening sound effects when you’re near a Lucky Pal.
Just like with Shiny Pokemon, you’ll need to be prepared to do a lot of exploring as these creatures are much harder to find. However, if you do manage to find a Lucky Pal, then you’ll be in for a treat as they come with the following passive skills:
- Rare
- Workaholic
As the names suggest, these skills drastically raise the attack stat and work speed of a Pal. This makes them a must for any player looking to improve their automation speed and battling power.
