In this article, we delve into the extensive updates featured in the Apex Legends Season 24 Split 2 patch notes. Keep reading to discover the highlights.
Skirmisher Class Enhancements in Apex Legends Season 24 Split 2
The mid-season update shines a spotlight on the Skirmisher class, addressing their gameplay dynamics and enhancing team synergy. Skirmishers are recognized for their exceptional mobility, which allows them to lead engagements or reposition quickly. The latest changes aim to leverage this agility, empowering Skirmishers to support their teammates effectively while maintaining their aggressive playstyle. With these updates, our intention is that Skirmishers can confidently engage in combat, knowing they have the tools to survive and assist their squads effectively.
- Trailblazer: Squadmates receive a speed boost when sprinting towards allies, but they must be at least 20 meters away to benefit from this upgrade, as outlined in the Apex Legends Season 24 Split 2 patch notes.
- Charged Knock: Grants Skirmishers an additional ability charge along with a 50 HP regeneration upon knocking an enemy. This extra ability charge is active for 30 seconds or until utilized.
- This additional charge applies to every Skirmisher Legend’s tactical abilities, except for Octane, who instead receives an extra ultimate charge.
- The 50 HP regeneration applies first to health and then to shields, should the latter be required. Damage can interrupt this healing process, per the patch notes.
In addition to these new skills, numerous Skirmisher Legends have received modifications to their abilities or Legend Upgrades. Complementing this is a buff to Light Machine Guns (LMGs), which perfectly suits the agile Skirmishers.
Introducing Power Sword Royale LTM
The Apex Legends Season 24 Split 2 patch notes introduce the exciting Power Sword, a melee weapon that can change the course of battle, but only if found. A Power Sword will spawn at the start of each match and once every round. Equipped with exceptional melee abilities, players can utilize the Power Sword to perform energy slashes while aiming down sights (ADS), providing both offensive capabilities and defensive shielding.
