Fire characters will bring the heat to any battle in Honkai Star Rail with their single-target and AoE attacks, enabling players to melt through enemy health bars. Here are all the current and upcoming Fire characters available in the game.
Much like Lightning characters, Honkai Star Rail’s Fire wielders can deal extremely high damage in combat. This makes them a perfect DPS option for anyone looking to bolster their team comps with some devastating attackers.

All Honkai Star Rail characters
Asta
Asta loves gazing up at the stars when she’s not busy eliminating her enemies.
- Rarity: 4-star
- Path: The Harmony
Asta is the lead Researcher of Herta Space Station. She’s a fiercely inquisitive and energetic young girl, who manages opinionated staff and deals with the Intelligentsia Guild.
As a follower of The Harmony Path, Asta excels are providing buffs to her teammates. Her Ultimate can increase the speed of all of her allies. Additionally, whenever Asta hits enemies she gains charging stacks which increases your entire team’s attack based on the number of enemies that were damaged.
Gallagher
- Rarity: 4-star
- Path: The Abundance
Gallagher is an upcoming 4-star character who will debut on Acheron’s banner, running from March 27, 2024, to April 17, 2024. Gallagher’s kit revolves around healing teammates after attacking debuffed enemies. He can also reduce opponents’ ATK by using his Enhanced Basic ATK.
Himeko
Himeko is an intrepid explorer who uses Fire-based attacks.
- Rarity: 5-star
- Path: The Erudition
Himeko will be instantly recognizable to Honkai Impact fans, but unlike her previous appearance, this version is an adventurous scientist. She ventures across the universe with her train, the Astral Express. As a well-traveled explorer, Himeko has experience fighting off those who wish to do her harm.
Equipped with deadly Fire abilities, the intergalactic explorer can make short work of those weak to flames. Her Skill Attack deals Fire damage equal to 100%-250% of Himeko’s ATK to a single enemy and Fire DMG equal to 40%-100% of Himeko’s ATK to any adjacent enemies.
If that wasn’t enough, Himeko’s ultimate deals Fire damage to all enemies on the battlefield and regenerates 10 Energy for each enemy defeated.
Hook
Hook may look small, but she will likely pack a fiery punch.
- Rarity: 4-star
- Path: The Destruction
Hook is the boss of The Moles adventure squad – a group of friends in Belobog’s Underworld. Her Path is known as The Destruction, which means she excels at attacking from the front of a group and makes a good DPS unit.
Her Ultimate will enhance the next skill she uses into a powerful AoE attack. Hook can also inflict burn on enemies and when burnt enemies are attacked, she will regenerate energy and deal additional damage.
Trailblazer (Fire)
- Rarity: 5-star
- Path: The Preservation
One surprise addition to the character roster players discovered when Honkai Star Rail launched was a Fire version of the main protagonist that could be obtained simply by playing through the main story.
Once you reach Lv. 24 in the game, you’ll be able to access The Return Quest and once this is complete you’ll have the ability to change your Trailblazer’s Path from Physical to Fire. The Fire version of the character is a fantastic support option in any team comp thanks to its damage reduction skill and full team shield abilities.
Topaz
Topaz is an upcoming Fire character in Honkai Star Rail.
- Rarity: 5-star
- Path: The Hunt
Topaz is an upcoming 5-star Fire character in Honkai Star Rail who will be released in a future update. Not much is known about her yet, aside from the fact she’s the Senior Manager of the Strategic Investment Department in the Interastral Peace Corporation, and also the leader of the Special Debts pickup team.

Guinaifen
Guinaifen is a 4-star fire character in Honkai Star Rail.

Guinaifen is an upcoming 4-star Fire unit that will be released in a future Honkai Star Rail update. Apart from knowing she lives on the Xianzhou Luofu, official information about Guinaifen is incredibly scarce at the moment, but once HoYoverse confirms more about this new fighter we’ll add further details here.
