Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl introduces a diverse range of weapons and gear essential for survival in the perilous environment of the Zone. Surprisingly, one of the more charming elements is the inclusion of a guitar. Having witnessed NPCs strumming soothing melodies around campfires, players can also acquire a guitar fairly early in their adventure, enabling them to play tunes while sitting at campfires or exploring the vast world beyond.
Acquiring the Guitar in Stalker 2
The guitar can be located in the Zalissya base, situated in the Lesser Zone region of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. To find it, make your way to the building where the vendor known as “Hamster”operates. From there, turn left into your personal quarters. The guitar is positioned on the left side of your bed, next to your stash.
When you pick up the guitar, it will be added to your item inventory without taking up space or increasing your character’s weight, allowing you to carry it effortlessly.
Playing the Guitar in Stalker 2
Once you’ve secured your guitar, playing it is a straightforward process. Access your weapon radial by pressing “Tab“on your keyboard, or “LB/L1“on your controller. Then, initiate the guitar action by pressing the “G“key or “RS/R3.”This will trigger an animation where your character, Skif, sits down with the guitar.
Upon starting the guitar, a new wheel will appear on the right side of your screen, displaying various notes available for play. Select one note at a time from this wheel, permitting Skif to play that note. Additionally, you can cycle through different scales by pressing “LB/L1“or “Tab“, enhancing your musical options.
Beyond simply playing the guitar wherever adventure leads you, you can also visit a campfire within the game. Once you are at a campfire, sitting down will present the option to play your guitar, allowing you to entertain fellow stalkers gathered around the flame.
