Fortunately, the situation has changed; the beloved Baldur’s Village mod is back on Nexus Mods. In an official statement to PC Gamer, Wizards of the Coast clarified that the DMCA notification that triggered the mod’s removal was sent in error. After its deletion, the mod was flagged as “under moderation review,” but it has now made a triumphant return, much to the delight of gamers. In a remark on Twitter, Larian CEO Swen Vincke hailed the quick resolution as “a good ending,”expressing hopes for the mod’s continued development.

Following the deployment of update 1.6.15 for Stardew Valley in December of last year, the game also saw its first patch of 2025—version 16.15.1—released on February 12. This update addressed several issues within the console version and ensured alignment with the latest PC content.
