The most straightforward way to encounter Emolga in Pokemon Go is to simply find it in the wild. While this is up to random chance, it’s a somewhat reliable way to encounter the Electric-type.

Trainers who participated in the Charged-Up Research Day even could also find Emolga more commonly in the wild. The event took place on Sunday, March 3, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM local time.

Can Emolga be Shiny in Pokemon Go?

Currently, Emolga cannot be found as a Shiny in Pokemon Go. While other Electric-type Pokemon like Chinchoe, Electrike, Blitzle, Joltik, and Helioptile have their Shiny forms in Pokemon Go, Emolga does not.

We will keep this guide updated whenever Emolga finally gets its Shiny form added to Pokemon Go in the future.
