Who are the newest characters to join Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Introduced in the A Rift in Time update on December 5, 2023, the latest characters to join Disney Dreamlight Valley are Jack Skellington, Rapunzel, Gaston, and Eve. Jack is available to all players, while the rest are DLC exclusive.
The introduction of these characters also marks the official end of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s early access period.
The next characters to join the Valley will be Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan (or Sulley) from Monsters Inc. on February 28, 2024. They’ll be part of the free update The Laugh Floor, which also includes new items and changes to Scrooge’s store.

Aladdin villain Jafar is playing a role in the new A Rift in Time expansion’s story, but he is not confirmed as a Villager. Based on the Expansion Pass roadmap, it’s possible he will become recruitable by the time the third chapter releases in the summer of 2024.
In addition to them, the developers teased a “lucky villager” that players will befriend during the expansion. Many speculate this is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, the precursor of Mickey Mouse who starred in several animated shorts during the 1920s and 1930s.
Monster Inc. characters Mike and Sulley will release on February 28, 2024, and Tiana is announced for summer 2024. Between those, a “vibrant” Villager (possibly Daisy Duck) and a new realm that seems to be Mulan-related are coming in early and late spring 2024, respectively.
