Nightingale is a first-person, PVE, open world with a Victorian look where players find themselves stranded in a dangerous world filled with different Fae Realms.
They must use the transdimensional portals to make their way into Nightingale City, but the path won’t be easy and they’ll have to explore, craft, build, and fight in order to survive the many dangers these magical lands have.
Since it was announced that the game would only launch for Steam and EPIC, players were left wondering if they would be able to become the ultimate Realwalkers on the portable Steam Deck.

Can you play Nightingale on Steam Deck?
No, players won’t be able to play Nightingale on Valve’s Steam Deck at its launch. The game is set to be a PC exclusive (Steam as well as EPIC) with no release announced for PlayStation or Xbox consoles either.
However, the studio said during a FAQ that they’re working on compatibility with Valve’s portable device and hope to have it ready as soon as possible.
More so, after the game comes out on February 22, 2024, the studio could decide to expand Nightingale to the missing platforms, but it will depend on how well it’s received by the gaming community.
If Nightingale eventually makes it to the Steam Deck, we will update this guide, so be sure to check back soon for more information.
