How to level up fast in Helldivers 2
Every mission completed in Helldivers 2 nets you a set amount of experience. Though there’s a fair number of factors that can change just how much XP you earn out in the field.
Completing optional objectives, clearing enemy bases, finding resources scattered around a planet, and changing difficulty all play a role in how much XP you walk away with upon extraction.
If you’re looking to level up as fast as possible, be sure to do as much as possible in any given mission, while setting the difficulty level as high as you’re comfortable with. Though it’s worth bearing in mind each level requires an enormous amount of XP, so even with those tips, you’re still in for one hell of a grind.
What is the max level in Helldivers 2?
The max level in Helldivers 2 currently appears set to level 20.
At least, level 20 houses the final tier of unlockable items in the game at the time of writing. The most powerful stratagems are unlocked here, with no further rewards mapped out beyond level 20.
However, we ourselves are yet to reach this point in our grind, so we can’t quite verify what happens upon reaching level 20. There’s still a chance you can earn more XP beyond this rank and continue climbing, but we’ll be sure to circle back with further details after some more hands-on time with the game.
