Below Deck Season 11 is underway and is bringing in several new faces, including the new Bosun, Jared Woodin.
Below Deck Med Season 8 set a new bar for the franchise and viewers highly anticipated the season of the OG series. Many changes were announced for the cast line-up of Below Deck Season 11, the most important being the exit of Captain Lee Rosbach.
Captain Kerry Titheradge, who previously worked on Below Deck Adventure, became Captain Lee’s replacement. Apart from him, other new people joining the crew would be Chef Anthony Iracane, deckhands Kyle Stillie and Sunny, and stews Xandi, Cat Baugh, and Barbie.
The 35-year-old Bosun is set to appear in Below Deck Season 11, where he will work on St. David as it charters across Grenada.
Fans can anticipate crew drama from Jared
Jared is joining Below Deck with years of work experience under his belt and has been a Bosun working on board yachts for over a decade. Before getting into the yachting world he worked several jobs including being a carpenter. Jared still enjoys woodwork but as a hobby.
Not much is known about the reality star’s personal life as he likes to keep things private. Even his Instagram is set to private. Although he shared on the show that he is the father to a beautiful 3-year-old girl named Alaska.
After the season premiere, it seems that Jared might be having a hard time getting along with Lead Deckhand Ben as he was seen making two big mistakes while working with him. The show trailer also showed Jared centering a lot of crew drama.
Below Deck Season 11 is set to return to our screens in February 2024 and the episodes are available to stream on Peacock.
