Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC brings back Generation 2’s Water/Electric Pokemon Chinchou and its evolution Lanturn. Here’s how trainers can find them around the Terarium.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC brought back plenty more Pokemon to the Generation 9 Pokedex from past Gens.
Thanks to the Blueberry Academy’s four distinct biomes in the Terarium, a diverse selection of Pokemon were able to make their way to Gen 9.
This includes Generation 2’s Water/Electric-type Pokemon Chinchou and Lanturn. Trainers who want to find these two Pokemon and catch them need only to read on to find out how.
Where to find Chinchou in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
According to its Pokedex entry, Chinchou lives primarily in the Blueberry Academy’s Canyon Biome.
Naturally, as a partial Water-type Pokemon Chinchou is only found swimming in rivers and bodies of water.

Where to find Lanturn in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Like its pre-evolution, Lanturn is primarily found in the Terarium’s Canyon Biome. Also similar to Chinchou it is only found swimming in bodies of water.
Trainers will likely need to head to the southwest portion of the Canyon Biome for the best chance of running into Lanturn.

How to evolve Chinchou into Lanturn in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Trainers who’ve raised a Chinchou in the past will be familiar with how it evolves, as the method has not changed in Gen 9. To evolve Chinchou into Lanturn, simply raise it to level 27.
