How to watch Rainbow Six Invitational 2024: Format, schedule, teams & more

The Rainbow Six Invitational 2024 is almost upon us as the end-of-season World Championship determines who is truly the world’s best team.

At the start of 2023, G2 became the very first org to become two-time Six Invitational champions, lifting their first in 2019 after a dominant run-through the org’s SI debut. And in their 2023 campaign, despite some stumbles, they pulled off a lower bracket run of a lifetime to lift the org’s second hammer.

However after the dust settled from 2023’s SI, it was w7m, whom G2 beat in the Grand Finals, that proved to be the more consistent team, winning back-to-back majors in the same year, and seeding number one in the Global Standings coming into SI 2024.

Now with SI being set in Brazil for the very first time, and home ground for the top R6 team of 2023 in w7m, it’s bound to be an incredibly hyped event. So here is all you need to know about the Six Invitational 2024.

Rainbow Six Invitational 2024: Stream

The tournament will be broadcast across Twitch and YouTube on the Rainbow Six channels. We have embedded the broadcast below for your convenience.

Rainbow Six Invitational 2024: Format

The tournament will be divided into two segments, a group stage and a double elimination playoffs.

The 20 qualified teams will be split into four groups each containing five teams. All groups will be a round-robin, with all teams playing each other once. In each group, only four teams will qualify for the playoffs, with the team at the bottom of their group being eliminated.

Once all 18 teams have qualified into the playoffs, they will play through a double-elimination bracket until a winner is determined. Teams will be seeded into the playoff brackets based on their group stage placement.

All group stage and most playoff matches will be played as Bo3 matches, with the grand finals being the sole Bo5 match.
