The girl group (G)I-DLE guested in episode 5 of KBS 2TV’s music talk show “The Seasons – Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet” , which aired on February 2nd.
During the broadcast, Lee Hyo-ri shared, “Soyeon once gave me a song” . Surprised by Lee Hyo-ri’s unexpected mention, Soyeon said “That’s right. You knew about the song?” .
In response, Lee Hyo-ri said, “I listened to it back then. While doing ‘Dancing Queens on the Road’, each member had to release a solo song. Soyeon sent me a song, but the song couldn’t make it because I didn’t have enough time” , adding “But it was a great song” .
Later, Soyeon performed the unreleased song she composed only for Lee Hyo-ri for the first time on the show.
Watching the performance, Lee Hyo-ri wondered, “Doesn’t this song suit you so well? How can I sing it?” . She added, “I could feel that Soyeon thought about me a lot when writing the song. When I gain enough confidence that I can do it better than Soyeon, I’ll give it a try.”
