MW3’s Season 2 is right around the corner, and new information is slowly being revealed. Here are the first details on the upcoming Battle Pass.
Season 2 of MW3 starts February 7, and it brings a lot of content. The recent developer post shared a ton of multiplayer content, including new modes and maps, and Warzone Ranked Play joining the fold.
Of course, with all the content changes comes the new Battle Pass to grind through. This season’s looking to be the most unique to date, with zombified operators, guns, and more.
There’s a lot to look forward to, and while the full details haven’t been shared, here’s what has been shared so far on MW3 & Warzone’s Season 2 Battle Pass, per the latest dev blog post.
MW3 & Warzone Season 2: BlackCell: Rewards & Cost

Much like previous iterations, the BlackCell is expected to cost $29.99. In return, you’ll get the following rewards:
- Access to the full Season 2 Battle Pass and 20 Tier Skips.
- 1,100 COD Points instantly.
- “John Doe” BlackCell Operator
- “Knuckle Sandwich” Finishing Move
- “Molten BlackCell” animated Weapon Blueprint (SVA 545 AR)
- “Requiem BlackCell” animated Weapon Blueprint (Sidewinder BR)
- 20 unique BlackCell rewards, including 11 exclusive or alternate Operator Skins and 6 alternate animated Weapon Blueprints.
- Players who upgrade to BlackCell after purchasing the Battle Pass will also receive 1,100 COD Points back.
MW3 & Warzone Season 2 Battle Pass: Rewards
As part of the Season 2 Battle Pass, The Walking Dead protagonist Rick Grimes becomes instantly available for use. Along with that, the Modern Warfare series reboot character, Kate Laswell, also is an instant unlock with the purchase of the Battle Pass.

Aside from those two, Battle Pass owners can expect the following rewards:
- Skins for Soap, Alpine, Farah, Valeria, Price, Warden, and Riptide, and multiple skins for Ghost. Also, expect plenty of charms, weapon blueprints, and other in-game trinkets.
