Where to find Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld

As players reach higher levels in Palworld, new materials come into play and Ancient Civilization Parts are an important resource in constructing some vital items in the game.

The first thing to note is that, depending on which platform the game is running on, the item in question may have a different name. On Steam, it should be Ancient Civilization Parts, as written in the headline, but on Xbox and PC Game Pass, they are listed as Paldium Crystals.

These are exactly the same item with an identical application but it’s worth noting the difference in nomenclature. The chief purpose of collecting Ancient Civilization Parts is to use the item in late-game, powerful items like the Giga Shield and incredibly useful utility items like the Egg Incubator.

Here’s how to track down and accumulate Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld.

How to get Ancient Civilization Parts in Palworld

The only way to earn Ancient Civilization Parts at the time of writing is to knock-out and loot Alpha Pals. Happily, these are relatively easy to find, and their general location is marked on the map after they have been spotted for the first time.

If you’re unsure whether you have come across the right animal out in the wild, there are a couple of easy ways to tell them apart. The first is that Alpha Pals are orders of magnitude larger than the normal version of themselves. Additionally, their name should appear in red above the character model. Sometimes these creatures can also be found in many of the world’s dungeons.

The lowest-level Alpha Pal to start with is Chillet, who should be relatively easy to defeat at Level 10 or above with a Pal of the same level, ideally with a Fire-type as a hard counter. Starting there should give enough parts to tide the character over until it’s possible to take on more Alpha pals.
