Jujutsu Kaisen’s battle against the strongest has taken an unexpected turn with Yuta Okkotsu’s sudden appearance. The recent chapter gave fans a lot of information, including Yuji’s ability to use Reverse Cursed Technique as well as Kirara and Ui Ui retrieving Gojo’s and Higuruma’s bodies.
Yuji’s fight with Sukuna goes as expected, with the young sorcerer being unable to do any significant damage. However, the King of Curses realizes that no matter how often he breaks Yuji’s spirit, the latter will get back on his feet and continue fighting.
Hence, the villain wants to eliminate this unpleasant feeling by slicing up Yuji’s ideals. Suddenly, Yuta joins the battlefield along with Rika. The chapter ends as it teases the fight between the King and Queen of Curses. Sukuna also warns Yuta to kill him before he kills everyone he loves.

Jujutsu Kaisen has gone on another hiatus, so Chapter 249 will be released on February 4. WSJ Issue 9 will be published on January 28, but it will not include JJK because of Gege Akutami’s break. The series will return on issue 10.

Jujutsu Kaisen once again ends with a major cliffhanger. Everyone knows that Yuta’s plan since the beginning was to kill Kenjaku. He successfully severs Kenjaku’s head, but the ancient sorcerer seems to have a backup plan. Nonetheless, it’s highly likely he won’t be able to use Geto’s body for evil. Thus, Yuta fulfills Gojo’s wish.
After Yuta “kills” Kenjaku, the POV again shifts to the battle against the strongest, and Higuruma sacrifices himself. He entrusts his Executioner’s Sword to Yuji, but the young sorcerer fails to injure the villain. Just as Sukuna swears to kill all the Culling Game Players, Yuta joins the battle.
Conventionally, Yuta is the strongest sorcerer and the only special grade. The upcoming chapter might feature the fight between these two. Sukuna seems fascinated with Rika, the Queen of Curses. However, even so, the series has never hinted at Yuta and Rika being stronger than Sukuna. Nonetheless, the sorcerers must do everything in their power to stop the villain.
