In September 2022, dating rumors between Park Min-young and her ex-lover, Kang Jong-hyun emerged. However, the latter was reported to be a scammer who stole a vast amount of money from other people.

This directly refuted the actress’ claim that she never received financial support from her ex-lover, revealing that the actress lied to the audience.
On the other hand, Kang Jong-hyun is known to have embezzled more than 60 billion won (approx 45 million USD).
