On January 8th, Kim Sang-hyuk apepared on a content video on the YouTube channel “Namdarimax” and talked about his life after his divorce.
He shared, “I don’t have a girlfriend right now” , adding “But I want to have a child because it brings vitality to oneself and I think it prevents running away from adult responsibilities.”
He continued, “I think time is the most precious thing. We use time to earn money, but still, what’s more valuable is how I meaningfully invest my time. Time spent with family is never regretted” , adding “When I have my own child, I want to see everything, how they grow” .
Kim Sang-hyuk then talked about his experience of facing a romance scam. He said, “One day, someone starts sending me messages regularly. I was in a very vulnerable state, thinking I shouldn’t drink and I didn’t go out. I was just focusing on working out. Then this person kept sending me DMs and I exchanged messages with her. It became like a leisure activity” .
He continued, “On my birthday, she suddenly wanted to celebrate it. She started talking about Bitcoin. I debated whether to trust or not and invested 1 million won. Then every six hours, dividends were dropped into my account” .
After investing a lot of money into Bitcoin, Kim Sang-hyuk eventually lost 20 million won.
Hearing the story, Yoon Nam-gi said, “That guy could have been a man” . Kim Sang-hyuk agreed, “Right, I had never talked to that person on the phone. I wasn’t in love with her. It was just nice to hear some warm words” .
Meanwhile, Kim Sang-hyuk made his debut as a member of CLICK B in 1999. He was caught drunk driving on the way to a broadcasting activity and went on a hiatus for self-reflection. Kim Sang-hyuk got married in April 2019 but divorced after only a year.
