In the latest updates for Marvel Rivals Season 2, players are thrilled about a newly introduced gifting feature that allows them to share costumes of their favorite heroes with friends. This enhancement includes the ability to purchase cosmetic bundles directly from the in-game Store, enabling players to present new skins as delightful gifts. However, the process comes with specific requirements and steps that must be followed to successfully gift these skins.
To utilize the gifting feature, your account must reach Level 10. This prerequisite underscores a commitment to gameplay, as it indicates some level of investment in the game. However, it’s important to note that you cannot gift skins from the free or Luxury editions of the Season 2 Battle Pass. Additionally, skins obtained through Competitive milestones or special in-game events are excluded from the gifting option.
How to Gift Skins in Marvel Rivals
Select a New Option from the In-Game Store

To start gifting skins, navigate to the “Store”menu as you launch the game. Here, you will discover various bundles of costumes available for different characters, including some that have been part of the Store since Season 0. Follow these steps to complete the gifting process:
- Select a desired Skin Bundle from the in-game Store.
- Click on the “Gift”option located next to the price tag.
- Choose a friend from your Marvel Rivals friends list to receive the gift.
- Include a personal note in the Gift section along with the Bundle.
- Confirm your selection by selecting the relevant price option.
- Send the Gift to your selected friend.
Currently, players can only gift Skin Bundles that contain a unique costume and other cosmetic items. Individual costumes cannot be gifted separately, although there is potential for this policy to evolve in the future.
You must be official friends with another player to send them a Skin Bundle. Once a gift is sent, the recipient can access it via their Mailbox. They can check their Mailbox by clicking on their icon in the upper right corner of the main menu and navigating to the appropriate tab.
Restrictions on Marvel Rivals Skin Gifts
Gifting Limitations

While gifting adds a fun element to the game, there are several restrictions that players should keep in mind when purchasing Skin Bundles for their friends. A key limitation is that only Lattice can be used to make gifts, not Units. Although Lattice can be earned in-game, it is not as easily obtainable as the other common currencies like Units or Chrono Tokens.
Due to this, players may often find themselves needing to spend real money on gifts, sometimes resulting in higher expenses than if they were purchasing for themselves. Since you cannot combine Units and Lattice to cover the cost of a Skin Bundle, it may become more costly in the long run.
Here are additional restrictions to consider when gifting:
- You can only send 5 Skin Bundles as gifts each day.
- Only items available in the in-game Store can be gifted.
- Gifts cannot be refunded once dispatched.
Despite these limitations, the system allows you to refresh your gifting allowance daily, enabling you to surprise your closest friends in Marvel Rivals with the costumes they have been longing for.
