Bitlife’s Unlike Us Challenge Overview
In this unique challenge, players will begin their journey in Los Angeles, striving to become a well-known rapper. Throughout this process, you’ll accumulate wealth, embark on tours, and potentially create a few adversaries as your public profile expands.
Challenge Objectives
To successfully complete the Unlike Us challenge, players must achieve the following:
- Be born in Los Angeles.
- Rise to fame as a rapper.
- Transform a friend into an enemy.
- Earn over $1 million while touring.
- Have at least three records achieve platinum status.
Initiating Your Life in Los Angeles
To begin, initiate a new life in the game, selecting the United States and specifically Los Angeles as your birthplace. You can choose any gender for your character. If the game offers a special talent option, selecting music will benefit you later in your rap career. Additionally, during your school years, focus on building friendships as you’ll need them later for the challenge.
Steps to Becoming a Renowned Rapper
To pursue a career as a rapper, you will first need to acquire the Musician pack. At age eight, navigate to Activities > Mind & Body > Voice Lessons and take these lessons annually to enhance your character’s singing skills. Once your character reaches 18, head over to Occupation > Special Careers > Musician to audition as a Solo Artist.
Remember, you have three audition opportunities each year. If you’re offered a contract for a different genre, politely decline and continue auditioning until you secure a rap contract. After achieving this milestone, host concerts to build your fame.
Turning a Friend into an Enemy
By now, you should have several friends. Head to the ‘Relationships’ tab, select a friend you wish to turn into an adversary, and modify their status to ‘Enemies.’
Achieving Over $1 Million on Tour
As a newly established rapper, you can access the rapper job menu. Scroll through the options and select ‘Tour’. The game will present various cities for your potential tour. Confirm your selection and successfully complete the tour. Keep touring until you achieve the lucrative goal of earning over one million dollars.
Ensuring Your Records Go Platinum
Your records can consist of either singles or full albums. While there isn’t a guaranteed method for securing platinum status, consistently producing and releasing music increases your chances. Occasionally, older tracks may achieve platinum status as your fame rises, so maintain a steady output without worry if immediate success isn’t seen.
