Scheduled for release on June 12, Pokémon Unite is poised to introduce players to Alcremie, the charming Fairy-type Pokémon first seen in Generation 8. Anticipation has been building among fans as they look forward to Alcremie’s long-awaited arrival.
Since its launch in July 2021, Pokémon Unite has captivated gamers across Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms, blending traditional Pokémon elements with a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) format. Initially starting with just 19 characters, the game’s roster has impressively expanded to over 70 by 2025, following recent character additions such as Alolan Raichu on April 17.
Recent trailers give a glimpse of Alcremie prancing atop a delightful two-tier cake adorned with strawberries, confirming its June 12 premiere. Enthusiasts of the game were already aware of this announcement thanks to a Pokémon Day 2025 presentation held in late February. During this event, it was revealed that not only Alcremie, but also Alolan Raichu and Suicune, were on the way to the game. With Suicune launching on March 1 and Alolan Raichu making its debut in April, the community is eager to speculate on future Pokémon arrivals post-June.
Alcremie’s Release Date in Pokémon Unite
According to the developers, Alcremie will fall under the supporter category within the game, joining notable Fairy-type allies such as Comfey, Wigglytuff, and Mr. Mime. While players who prefer an aggressive playstyle may not gravitate towards Alcremie’s role, it promises to enhance team dynamics by offering healing support, status effects, and crowd control capabilities.

The appeal of Alcremie largely stems from its extensive customization options. First introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield, Alcremie has 70 distinct appearances derived from the evolution of Milcery, offering remarkable aesthetic diversity. These variations are not only categorized by different cream colors—totaling 10, including shiny forms—but also influenced by seven unique sweets that blend with the Pokémon during evolution, forming permanent embellishments in its hair-like top. Players of Sword and Shield can influence their Alcremie’s appearance by evolving it at specific times and performing unique character spins, though in Pokémon Unite, the character will predominantly feature the visually captivating Strawberry Sweet Vanilla Cream form.
