Official Announcement: Release Date for Valorant Replays

The eagerly awaited Valorant Replays feature is on the horizon for fans of the popular PvP game, although its official launch is still several months away. This replay system has topped community wish lists, with frequent memes and comments like “replays when?” appearing across social media platforms.

The introduction of a replay system holds significant potential for the Valorant community. Players will be empowered to analyze their own performances as well as those of their opponents by reviewing previous match footage. This analysis can provide invaluable insights into gameplay strategies and also serve as a tool for identifying potential cheating incidents.

Launch Schedule for Valorant Replays

The official release date for Valorant Replays is set for September 2025. This announcement was made by Anna Donlon, the Studio Head of Valorant at Riot Games, via her official X account. Donlon expressed her excitement, stating:

“REPLAYS ARE COMING IN SEPTEMBER! Woot! Get your last “replays when?” comments in while you can.”

Fans can expect to learn more details about the replay system and its concrete launch timeline during the upcoming June anniversary Developer Update. After a lengthy wait, the community will be thrilled to receive official confirmation of this highly anticipated feature.

Upcoming Changes for Tejo

In addition to the replay announcement, Donlon disclosed that changes are in store for the character Tejo, scheduled to be implemented in Patch 10.09. Although details were sparse, the Valorant X channel shared that significant adjustments to Tejo’s abilities will occur. His Ultimate Points will increase from 8 to 9, while the cost for his Stealth Drone will rise from 300 to 400 credits, and Special Delivery will increase from 200 to 300 credits.

Tejo’s Guided Salvo will feature two charges, with each charge providing a single rocket. The first charge will continue to be free, but the second charge will now cost 150 credits. Additionally, the effective map radius for this ability will be reduced from 55 meters to 45 meters, and it will no longer regenerate during cooldown periods.
