In a surprising twist on Love Triangle Australia, Sam Carraro, a familiar face from Married at First Sight Australia, made his much-anticipated return during season 3, episode 4, after previously exiting the reality series. However, his second appearance was short-lived as he once again exited the show following a heated exchange with his potential match, Ariana Djori.
Initially, Sam had connected with Ariana through text but lacked genuine interest, prompting his early exit. Producers, however, reintroduced him in episode 4. During his absence, Ariana developed a rapport with her second choice, Nuri, and the two moved in together. The dynamics shifted significantly when Sam reappeared at their doorstep.
Ariana did not welcome Sam’s return with open arms, questioning his motives after he had previously ghosted her. Sam expressed an interest in seeing Ariana again, but failed to manage his frustration, ultimately leading him to leave.
“I’m not doing this, I’m out,”he declared as he left Ariana and Nuri’s home, leaving fellow contestants in a state of disbelief.
Sam Carraro’s Attempt to Justify His Actions
Love Triangle Australia season 3 episode 4, titled “I’d Like To Get To Know Her,”premiered on Stan on April 20, showcasing a week of shifting alliances as contestants navigated their connections with both initial and second suitors in a shared living environment.
The episode became a focal point for drama, particularly surrounding Sam, who had ghosted Ariana after just three days of messaging. This left her little choice but to pursue a connection with Nuri, with whom she had started to bond before Sam’s re-entry.
Upon appearing at Ariana’s door, tensions rose as she reminded him of his previous disappearance. When pressed about his reason for returning, Sam offered a vague explanation about wanting to say ‘hi’ after some reflection.
Ariana remained unsatisfied with his response, asserting that he should have participated actively in their texting phase before returning. Sam’s snarky retort, stating that his presence was part of the show format, escalated the tension further.
“Yeah, but usually you’d have to take part in the texting first. So, I’m a little confused. I thought I wasn’t your cup of tea, doll,”she shot back.
The confrontation intensified when Ariana expressed her disbelief that Sam felt she was not his “cup of tea.”He bluntly confirmed her suspicions, stating, “You’re not.” This exchange led to an assertive dialogue where Sam questioned Ariana’s ability to handle rejection.
Feeling cornered, Ariana articulated that Sam’s actions had obstructed her opportunity to choose between two suitors. As the disagreement heightened, Sam decided to leave, retrieving his luggage and storming out.
During his exit, when approached for commentary, Sam rejected media inquiries, insisting the cameras be turned off.
“I’m not saying anything. What do you want me to say? Can you stop rolling mate?,”he expressed before departing.
New episodes of Love Triangle Australia season 3 air every Sunday on Stan, promising more drama and emotional twists as contestants navigate their complex relationships.
